I like the size. It’s made of wood on the outside. Has a lot of room. I don’t like the dividers in the middle being held together with velcro. The dividers bow. There is velcro under the zipper top closer, not a fan of velcro as through many uses it will stop holding. Also I think i have a defected one where velcro was on both sides on the right latch, not a deal breaker. Over all it’s nice, kind of pricey but I think it will work for traveling.I was debating between the Crop in Style XXL and the Darice Rolling Scrap Book. I chose this one because the reviews of this one said it was very balanced when you have it fully loaded verses the Darice one which the reviews stated would tip over if you weren't careful.I am very glad I bought this one. It is worth the money I spent on it (which was the overall reason why I kept eyeing Darice over this one). This Tote is huge. It's so big that I was able to put a full sized sewing machine in the center with no problems (and there is still quite a bit of room in there). The left pocket has spots for pens/scissors and small clear pockets that I filled with 2 ounce bottles of paint. The lid of the center has a pocket on the top and a pen/paintbrush/marker cattie that works nicely and is removable. The front pocket has more small clear pockets and a giant pocket on the back of the pocket. The right pocket is a two part folder for paper and other stuff. The giant center pocket has 3 removable folder slots and has plenty of room for lots of stuff. The handle has a button in the middle you push to unlock it and move it to the height you want and can be stopped and locked nearly anywhere from the upper most to resting.Even with a sewing machine and filled with lots of arts stuff it doesn't even threaten to topple over. It's amazing and tomorrow I shall post some photos so you can see just how much this thing can hold (I found the two photos this listing has for it not enough to base my purchase on: I had to go searching on ebay for actual photos of used ones).Update 10/16/2014:Decided to update after a bit with how it's been going. I bought this Crop In Style for a convention I was in the artist alley at. It was my first artist alley convention and I needed something I could just throw all my crafty stuff in and go so I would have it easily at the con. Even my Significant Other mentioned how the tote was a very good buy. At the end of the day instead of hauling boxes up back to the hotel room of stuff I couldn't leave on the selling floor I just placed everything back in the tote, put my sewing kit on top (the machine is stored in the tote too) and wheeled it back to the hotel room. I had no problems with tipping and it made everything so easy. Since I can't post customer images directly through the product page the image is a tinyimage link down in the comments someone asked for. If you want a better understanding of how big this is on the inside I offer up that image to help.UPDATED review after deciding to keep and use this tote: Yes, it is large and heavy even when it's empty, but it rolls easily over all sorts of surfaces and has turned out to be a life-saver for storing and transporting all of my brushes, acrylic paints and zillions of other necessities (glaze, gesso, mediums, etc.) that I use for painting workshops. And at home, I keep everything in it for neat storage in my small studio space. I also do watercolors, and those have a different rolling tote (smaller, cheaper tool bag on wheels from Home Depot). I use some of the plastic pockets but not all of them -- I really like the zippered side pockets for carrying notebooks, a color wheel or other flat items. The only things that don't fit in it are my canvases, so I carry those in a standard zip-up portfolio. All in all, I give this a big thumb's up. ORIGINAL review: Not sure I will keep this -- while it is very sturdy and well made, it is HUGE and even when empty is very heavy. I wanted it for transporting art supplies to class, but the interior and pockets are not really designed for that purpose. I really don't know what Crop In Style had in mind -- it seems like it's trying to be too many things. There's a gazillion pencil slots in a folding insert, but a dozen really stiff clear plastic pouches of such various shapes and sizes I couldn't imagine what I'd use them for. I could fit all my watercolor class supplies in the main cavity loosely, but it would then be too heavy too lift in and out of my car. And once in the classroom I can't imagine sharing leg room with it and another student at a work table. It has more of a square-ish shape than the pictures show. If I can't figure out another use for this, it will be going back. I had high hopes this would be a perfect solution, but right now I am less hopeful and more doubtful. I checked Home Depot and saw a Husky brand rolling tool case tote for less $$ -- it's heavy and sturdy, but the profile is slimmer and would fit in the car and under a work table much better. I've looked at scrap booking totes that have potential in terms of storage amenities and they are light weight, but they are pricey (cuteness factor with fabric covers, etc.) and can't handle the weight of paint tubes, art blocks, palette and so on. I also saw the ArtBin rolling tote in my local art store and while it is designed with art supplies in mind, it is so tall and ungainly it won't go easily in my 4-door car and where do you park the darn thing in a crowded classroom? I am amazed there aren't better solutions on the market. The tote is really well made. Nice handle, sturdy, lots of compartments, rolls smoothly, all around it is functionally PERFECT. Buuuuttttt…it smells like an alley full of feral cats took a pee in it. Seriously. I have aired it out both indoors & outdoors, sprayed it repeatedly with fabric spray, nothing. I can’t even leave it in a high traveled area bc people ask what that smell is, they think it’s poop. I have resorted to hanging a tree type of air freshener in it. It smells like island coconut cat pee/poop for awhile, then it’s right back to regular old cat pee/poop. It has really defeated its purpose bc it’s embarrassing to take to meetings. If it didn’t smell AWFUL, it would absolutely be perfect. Since it DOES smell awful, I would pass for the amount of money spent. I would rather carry arms full of documents, signs, etc than drag this thing into another meeting.
